Practicalities Some practical issues concerning applying to the module and staying in Iisalmi.

Accommodation
Savonia will help you to find a
room in Iisalmi after we have received your request for
accommodation. Companies providing student housing are
private organisations and they are not owned by Savonia. You
can rent a room either from these companies, from private
flat owners or from Hostel Iisalmi. Petterinkulma Oy
The rooms have no equipment. You
can share the room with somebody or have a room of your own.
The kitchen and the bathroom are shared. There are usually
two to four rooms in one unit. Coin-operated laundry
facilities are also available. Students are responsible for
the cleaning of their rooms. The rent is 200-300 € per month
and you should be prepared to pay two months’ rent
beforehand. The houses are situated 1-3 kilometres from the

Hostel Iisalmi You can stay in Hostel Iisalmi, which is situated in the centre of the town about 2,5 kilometres from the school. The modest rooms are equipped with furniture and bedclothes. You share the kitchen and bathrooms with others. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils. The rent is about 150-300 € depending on the size of the room and the numbers of guests per room. Guests staying for a longer period take care of the cleaning of the rooms by themselves. More information www.hosteliisalmi.fi
